AFRICA HERBAL SECRET is a Herbal Medicine treatment company, based in Ghana, operating mainly online, and also on appointment. It was formerly registered in Ghana in 2013 under the name AGBENYEGA HERBAL CONCEPT. We operated under this name from a physical location between 2013 and 2022.
WHY WE CHOSE TO OPERATE ONLINE
Since 1998, the founder, CEO, and manufacturer of all the medicines used by AFRICA HERBAL SECRET to treat patients - Herbal Doctor Frederick Agbenyega Miwonuko - has attended to most of the patients on appointment, then from a distance and a physical office in Accra, Ghana. Our hallmark is Trust, Efficiency, and Reliability. Thus, our patients became our publicity agents. That led to an enormous challenge. Patients from all parts of Ghana were requesting our services. Most of these were confronted with the stress of transporting themselves to our location for treatment, and the fee the journey requires. Most of our patients complained about paying for a hospital bed and multiple laboratory tests, for months, even years, with no improvement in their condition. We were having patients in Togo, and in Nigeria (some Nigerian patients proposed to us in 2011 a free house in Lagos, for us to relocate, in order to help them. We had one or two patients in the UK, the USA, Belgium, and Germany. We also had a patient in Mozambique, patients from the Ivory Coast, and a call for treatment from South Africa, which we were not able to honour. And since the beginning of the year 2026, we have had a new patient in Liberia. It would be very difficult for all these people to access our services if we operated only from a physical office. We could not have enough space to keep them for days for the treatment, which would incur additional expenses. And why should someone already sick be compelled to make a long journey for medication? Would not the journey alone aggravate his condition? Would that delay the medication, especially if it was an emergency? We needed a way to continue treating our patients efficiently in a manner that makes things easy for them, while helping them to cut down their medical expenses. After much analysis and reflection, we decided to operate mainly online, attending to patients from a distance.
HOW IT WORKS
- Contact us by phone call or a message for an enquiry.
- Request for a consultation. In a conversation, we investigate your condition and explore your body. We will request a laboratory test if we need one. This exercise costs a little money. We give you the prescription and the treatment plan. There are two ways to do this: (a) on a form you fill out, or (b) by email.
- Make the payment.
- We will inform you when the medicines will be ready. The medicines are delivered within 7 (seven) and 10 (ten) days, depending on the nature of the medicines and the availability of the raw materials.
- We keep in touch with you as you take the medication right in the comfort of your room, until you are fully recovered.
- In the case of Sickle Cell, we request a blood test at the end of every three (3) months, in order to monitor the improvement.
WE HAVE THE EXPERTISE. In addition to General Medicine, Herbal Doctor Frederick Agbenyega Miwonuko is a Specialist of chronic diseases (diseases thought to be incurable with medicine; for example, sickle cell, endometriosis, brain tumour, breast cancer, prostate cancer). He is also an expert in Telemedicine. Telemedicine is about using ICT (Integrated Communication Technology) to attend to patients from a distance. He believes that in this modern world with advanced technology, the area of patients trooping the whole day in the hospital waiting for the physician to call them one by one for consultation must be over. Health practitioners have the duty to improve on themselves and become more efficient, in order to make things easier and better for their patients.
